We are a not-for-profit local figure skating club and a member of the U.S. Figure Skating Association (USFS). Our club, which formed in 1989, strives to provide a positive environment for the specialty sport of figure skating for youth and adult skaters in Central Kentucky. We foster the sport of figure skating for educational, competitive and recreational purposes; and we present annual figure skating shows and sponsor amateur athletic events in the region. Local clubs like ours across the U.S. are what start skaters on the road to the Olympics.
Each year, we host multiple test sessions to give our skaters the opportunity to move up in the USFSA ranks. We also present a Holiday Ice Show or Recital in December and a Spring/Summer recital. In addition to shows and performances, we also offer some group skills classes for our skaters.
In order to help defray our costs, we are looking for businesses in our community, to sponsor and support us. Not only will sponsorship dollars make our annual competition and shows possible, but we also believe that this event could be a great way for local businesses to reach a new set of potential clients.
